Aquatron 4x100

Has an inner composting chamber which is subdivided into four sections, each having a volume of approx. 100 litres. This inner container can be turned like the rotating barrel of a revolver.

​

Aquatron 4x100 is suitable for households of 5 persons living in holiday homes, or for small households (1-2 persons). The inner chamber should be turned 90 degrees clockwise approx. every 3-4 months. Hence, a full rotation cycle will take approximately 12-16 months. The actual turning/emptying frequency depends on usage, temperature in the compartment where the Bio Chamber is installed and if worms are used for composting or not.

Turning the inner chamber 90 degrees clockwise means that the filled 100 litres section will get no more fresh solid waste, and will therefore compost the waste completely into soil which will make it easier and more pleasant to handle. When the first used chamber comes up for emptying, the refuse has been fully composted and has become transformed into approx. 10 litres of soil – perfect for the garden.

Optionally, instead of emptying the chamber, it may be used once more before emptying.

The advantage with Aquatron 4x100, compared to the Aquatron model 90,

is its full composting capability which makes waste handling easier and more pleasant.

Supplied with U.V. filter or Phosphorus Trap according to local regulations.

Technical data Aquatron 4x100

Infiltration: Aquatron 4x100 is connected to the infiltration system for household wastewater from bath, kitchen and laundry (grey water).

Water Closets: Standard WCs (3-6 litres flushing volume) or special models where the urine is mechanically diverted from the flushing water and the solid waste already in the bowl.

Length of pipes WC to separator: Minimum 1 metre, maximum 10 or 20 metres (3 or 6 litres flushing respectively).

Pipe dimensions: Standard PVC waste pipes 110 mm diameter between WC and separator, other pipes 50 mm diameter.

Inclination: Last metre (closest to separator) 5 %. Before that the pipe inclination should be 1 %, or as national guidelines.

UV unit: Two UV light tubes type Philips TUV 15 or equal. The UV light is connected to an alarm which will sound in case of failure. Power usage 30 W, 230 V.

Material: In general, Aquatron is made of polyethylene plastic (re-cyclable). The Aquatron 4x100 Bio Chamber, however, is made of polyester plastic reinforced with glass fibres.
